Who the heck is Jim?

So we're driving in the car to my mom's house, and Jane starts singing "I am a child of God". She listens to a CD of church songs every night to go to sleep to and that's the first song. Because she's only 2 and all her song lyrics are strictly phonetic, she often has some interesting versions of songs. Anyway, as she is coming to the conclusion of the first verse, she sings out "Teach me all dat I muss dew, to live wif Jim someday." So, the question is... who is Jim? Is Jim somehow related to Marsha? Or perhaps Jim is the name of the now-missing seahorse. Marie, looks like you might have some competition!

Speaking of random Jane-isms, she has now found bats in our vents and spiders in her high chair. If either of these things are true I am moving.

Do not speak lightly of moving! Ahh! We are trying to sell our house in two months in this crummy market and build a house in Daybreak. It's been horrendous, but we feel so good about it that it is awesome too. As Amy says in Little Women, we don't need lots of buyers, just one, as long as they are the right one. I saw your blog address on Jenny's blog. My blog is at www.windybrook.blogspot.com. It sure is a fun way to keep in touch. I am a Child of God is Emmie's favorite song too. Hugs! Cayenne

I love the Invisible story. Very beautiful. I thought it was going to end with "so women, stand up and make yourself noticed!" as usual. I was so touched when it said it's even better to be invisible. About my blog design, my sister-in-law got some tutoring on blog editing from a friend while she and her family were living with us in August and I got to reap the benefits. I could ask her about doing your blog too if you want. She had a lot of fun with it. I should have had her teach me, but things were a bit crazy! (and still are--never ending fun around here.) I'm not very good at computer stuff really and for all her blondness, she is a sharp woman. That's my excuse. =) I could also blame it on the fact that she is younger and I am sure had more exposure to computer programming in school than I did. Yea. That sounds good too. Actually, if you really are interested, I could probably get her to teach me and I could teach you. How does that sound?

Thanks for being so willing to help! Your life sounds pretty crazy right now, so don't worry about lessons from your SIL. Supposedly my husband is a computer programmer but for some reason, the whole process even stumps him!:) If, someday, you really want to learn how to program your blog all pretty-like, I would love for you to pass that knowledge along to me, but for right now, work on getting your life settled. You are wonderful!

Have you been watching too much of "The Office"? Because that's the only Jim I can think of. That's so funny. I love kids.

I'm confused, did I miss you saying somthing about moving? Are you thinking of moving?

why is everyone talking about moving when they should be talking about me! I know you don't all know me and everything but that is hardly important. The fact is Jane wants to live with me someday....not in a weird way - like in a I'm a super cool uncle who isn't actually related way. I know that is hard to accept since I have trouble conforming to social norms and generally eat too much peanut butter but whether we like it or not our kids all seem to want to use their agency. -Jim (not Marie)

I vote that Jim should comment as Jim and Marie should comment as Marie from now on. This is Phyllis, by the way.
